Lectures
Deanne will speak about her quilting history and her love of appliqué and scrap quilting. She will share some tips and techniques for successful "scrapping"!
Lecture Time: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes including a show and tell trunk show
2026 Fee: $300 plus mileage and lodging (if needed). This includes a trunk show along with the lecture.
Workshops
Class Fees: Base fee of $150 plus $25 per student (includes pattern unless otherwise noted) plus travel expenses if workshop is not booked with a lecture.
Class Size: A minimum of 5 students is required for a workshop that is not booked with a lecture. A maximum of 25 students accepted.

My Workshops
New workshop! Snugg-lets
Choose one of my mini wool appliqué wall hangings for a class. These patterns are called "Snugg-lets". The focus of the class will be on wool appliqué.
Warm & Wooly Welcome
This workshop focuses on wool appliqué on fabric. Students can make colorful, large seasonal banners that can be displayed alone or on the pieced background. Class includes tips and techniques for successful stitching!
Delightful Seasons
The main focus of this workshop are the tips and techniques of wool appliqué on a fabric background. This includes preparing the wool appliqué pieces and stitch demonstration.
Open Windows
This workshop focuses on needle-turn hand appliqué and accurate piecing. Students can choose to bring their machine and work on piecing the blocks or they can just bring the strips of background fabric and focus solely on appliqué. Class includes tips for preparing templates, making bias stems, preparing appliqué motifs for stitching, etc.
Additional cost of $18 for the corresponding book (includes 8 other patterns!)

The main focus of this workshop is to teach needle-turn hand appliqué techniques. This includes preparing templates, making bias stems, preparing appliqué motifs for stitching, etc.
